HOTEL ACCESS BETWEEN 20:00 AND 07:00 DURING A424 (BURFORD ROAD) CLOSURE
Guests arriving at the hotel from 17th March to 26th March please be aware that there is a road closure on the A424 (Burford Road) for resurfacing works between the hours of 8pm and 7am.
The section of road being resurfaced it beyond the hotel entrance however road closure signs will be present at the intersection of the A424 (Burford Road) and A429 (Fosseway).
Highways have assured us that access will still be permitted to enter the hotel from the north end of the closed section from the A429 (Fosseway) junction end and we will be open as usual.
GUESTS ARRIVING FROM SOUTH EAST VIA BURFORD DIRECTION BETWEEN 17TH AND 26TH MARCH
Those that might have approached the hotel from Burford via the the A424 are advised to follow the diversions most likely west to join the A429 then head North as far as the other end of the closed road at the traffic light junction at bottom of Stow Hill to the West of the hotel and pass the Closure signs to enter hotel car park 50 yards after the junction/closure signs.
GUESTS ARRIVING FROM NOTH VIA MORETON-IN-MARSH BETWEEN 12TH AND 30TH MARCH
Those approaching from the North down the A429 (Fosseway) or East/West A44 via Moreton-in-Marsh please note the two night road closures; leaving Moreton (Stow Road) and between Moreton and Stow (A429 Broadwell), diversions will be advertised so please follow these. If approaching from the West on A44 from M5/Evesham/Broadway take the A424 on right at ‘Troopers Lodge Garage’ junction, this would also be the likely diversion route signposted for those approaching Moreton down the A429. Those approaching from the East on A44 Oxford/Chipping Norton, take the left at the ‘Old Cross Hands/Greedy Goose Pub’ junction onto the A436.
